As an interior stylist, I have very specific ideas and always look to the fresh and innovative. Working with Glenn Roberts both in the planning stages and construction of the project was refreshing in that my ideas and attention to detail was respected, and solution based attitude was applied throughout the process. The Suter Art Gallery uses a variety of lighting throughout its building, from specialist exhibition track lighting; lighting for ambiance including uplighting and spotlighting architectural features; lighting for way-finding, working and safety; outdoor lighting.   The KNX system allows the lighting to be selectively turned on and off using a tablet with just a finger swipe and touch onto simple graphics.   I was told we would have had row upon row of switches had we not got KNX control, instead we have 3 very discrete devices controlling several hundred lights and the sun blinds in the entrance lobby – which makes things very easy to use.

We have been involved in a number of projects with Glenn Roberts Electrical since Josh and Nic took over the business, the first of which was the Saxton Oval Pavilion.  Since then we have worked together on a variety of commercial and high-end residential and rest-home projects.  Each project has different challenges whether it be programme, budget or technical, leaving very little room for error.  All of the team at Glenn Roberts Electrical have been professional and approachable and we have worked together to deliver some fantastic results. Their ability to perform to a high standard on site, but also provide design solutions and manage costs ensures that they are an electrical firm of choice for us as a main contractor. The site foreman that we have worked with have been the highest quality and their input during projects has been invaluable in their success. Glenn Roberts Electrical has a very good communication channels that allows decisions to be made quickly.

GRE were the electrical contractor on our house build in Mapua. Their input was one of the highlights of the build process. They provided great input on the design of all of the electrical systems covering lighting, PV, automation and general power and showed patience while we figured out our final requirements with other contractors.
